The Western Canada Knife Association!
The Western Canada Knife Association was formed in June of 2000 when a group of knife enthusiasts got together in Kamloops, BC, Canada. They decided that there was a need for a knife related organization in Western Canada that would serve knife makers, scrimshaw artists, engravers, collectors, and anyone else involved or interested in knives. You will notice by the name that we are not solely a knife maker’s club. We are just a group that is interested in knives. That is the only prerequisite for joining the club.
Join WCKA
Joining the WCKA provides a good opportunity to share information about knives with others who are interested in knives and knifemaking. To find out more about WCKA please
Knife Raffle
Our annual knife raffle is a wonderful avenue to showcase the craftmanship of some of our knifemakers. Some years it is a collaboration knife where two or more makers are involved. The proceeds from the raffle goes towards running the association as well as donating to different charities. The raffle draw is usually held at the Kamloops show in April. Tickets can be purchased from the members of the Association.
